The dreamiest bridal session you ever did see.

So for those of you who don't know, I am a military spouse and if there's one thing military life has taught me, it's that plans rarely ever come to fruition, haha! You've really got to learn to roll with the punches and be okay with putting things on the back burner. For Hunter and I, that meant having a court house wedding a whole year before our actual wedding ceremony to help make the process of moving on base, getting a military ID, being enrolled in DEERS, etc.. much easier. Well, as it turns out, a lot of military couples do that same thing! I've met so many couples who had a little court house wedding and either had their big ceremony later on or meant to have one but, again plans had to change, never had one. This got me thinking one day about those couples who never got to have the wedding that they wanted because of deployment, Covid, PCSing, and/or general army plans getting rearranged. Often times, when couples think ( just like how Hunter and I did! ) that they're going to just have a little court house wedding and they'll save all the bells and whistle for later on, they don't get any photos of their wedding day! So I thought it would be really fun to gift a couple who didn't get to have their wedding day as they wanted, a free bridal session and popup picnic mad by The Wild Rose Picnic Co.! The idea was simple, those who never had a wedding ceremony would enter in the giveaway, I would tell my followers a little bit about each couple who entered, and then people would vote for who they thought deserved the bridal session! Well that lucky couple ended up being Kaylin and Omer.

Kaylin and I started planning and made her vision come to life! It was the most BEAUTIFUL night running around with them. My girl, Tori ( follow her on Instagram @thewildrosepicnicco you won't regret it!), made them the prettiest luxury picnic by a little lake and the whole thing was an absolute dream! I loved being able to get to know Kaylin and Omer, as well as the other couples who entered the giveaway. I'm thinking this needs to be something that happens every year, thoughts??? Get a glimpse into their session below!
