"People let me tell ya 'bout my bestfriends"
Though ever session truly becomes my new favorite, this one will always hold a very special place in my heart. Caitlin & Elijah are Hunter & I's best friends! Hunter met Elijah through work and they soon became best buds and then a few months later, Caitlin and I met and also became best friends! Kind of ( okay, EXACTLY ) like Nick & Jess and Schmidt & Cece. I'll let you guess which couple is which (; Anywho, we seriously hung out with them every single day last summer, had a glorious friendsmas with them ( and Linh & Ethan! ), spent MANY slap happy nights with them, and Elijah and I watched a ton of movies while Hunter and Caitlin fell asleep, hahaha. Last month, the Army relocated them to Monterey, California and to say we are sad to not have them around anymore is an understatement. But don't you worry, we'll crash their new place soon!
This shoot was probably the first time we actually planned a shoot and I didn't shoot them a text the day of saying "Hey! I know it's short notice, but would you guys mind..." needless to say, this was super fun! Caitlin especially was super excited to have these photos to help commemorate all of Elijah's accomplishments here at Fort Bragg. So naturally, we had this shoot right on base in a really, at first glance, strange location. I think the photos speak for themselves, ANY PLACE CAN BE THE PERFECT LOCATION!!! We hit it right at the golden hour, had lots of laughs, made Elijah blaze a path for us ( sorry about your sweater ) and created absolute magic! Also, look for the time Caitlin dropped Elijah on his head LOL
